That night, Jon sat at the edge of his bed, stone in his hand, thinking. If he wished to remember his dreams, nothing may happen because he was technically in *Sarah's* dream. If he wished to remember *Sarah's* dreams, then he may end up remembering her dreams *every* night, and he didn't even want to think about what that would do to his head. No, wishing for something permanent was going to cause problems no matter what he chose. And he didn't really like the idea of information being fed straight into his brain, either. So finally, after thinking it out, Jon clutched the stone tighter and said, "I wish that when I wake up tomorrow, I will find a written transcript of Sarah McMillan's dreams from tonight next to my alarm clock." Satisfied, Jon said Sarah's name out loud, and counted his sheep.
