examining the choices:mermaid scales

Joanna went to the shelf with the mermaid scales, and examined it. The small glass jar was filled with shiny pearlescent rose crystals. It looked reminded her of bath milk. The bottle seemed to tremble in her hands, curious she held it to her ear and could hear a distant rushing noise like surf splashing on the shore .. or was that just her imagination. "Your destiny deary... choose wisely." The old woman is smiling cheerfully.
