The male Jon swung his legs off the bed and sat up. "I'm you ... sort of," he said. "I suppose you could say that I'm a *version* of you. From another reality. And man, I never thought I'd ever do something like *this*." "What's wrong with it? I've always had feelings about wanting to be a girl. If you're really me, you should know that." "Like I said. I'm a *version* of you. And no, I've never had those feelings before. I'm fine the way I am. Oh maybe I've had a curiosity of knowing what it was like, but I never wanted to be a girl permanently." "Why are you here?" I asked him. "That's a good question." "And I hope you'll answer it," I said. Despite the fact that he was me, there was something I didn't trust about him. It almost felt like he was avoiding the truth. Like the fact that he said he was a "version" of me, but didn't elaborate on it.
