Jon wished up an interesing object

The next day Karyn waited for Jon at the school where they said they'd meet the night before. Karyn wondered what Jon was going to do today. She called him on the phone the other night and he said he was going to wish up something interesting for her to play with. Why he just wasn't going to play with the stone itself she didn't know. She looked on with a mix of anticipation and nervousness as she saw Jon approaching. What could he have?
