The Blue Branch: Taking a Sample

Betty went back to the first tree and snapped off one of the blue branches. She needed to take it back to the science lab and examine it. She took a plastic baggy out of her purse and put the twig inside it. This discovery was going to be *huge*. She then turned around and walked back into the school, not even noticing that the blue coloration was continuing to spread ... into three more trees *and* the grass that surrounded them.
