Jon had just finished his meal which he had helped his "new" prepare when she dropped the bombshell on him. "Karyn honey don't forget to be ready for to pick you from school at lunchtime. I checked with the principal and she said it was okay" Bethany Black informed her stand in daughter. "I will be ready mom" Jon replied almost without thinking about it. "Good the wedding is on Saturday afternoon and I think your cousin Cassie would want all her bridesmaids to look their best. I know it means you miss an afternoon of school but it's the only way to make sure you make to the spa on Saturday morning." Bethany continued. Jon didn't hear most of what she was saying as he had zoned out at bridesmaids. Now had Karyn got him involved in. He really need to call her. With that he turned to Bethany and asked "May I be excused. I have some homework to finish." "Of course you can Honey" Bethany answered. Jon ran upstairs to Karyns' room where he had left her phone just a few hours before. Holding it tight in his hand he called Karyn and hoped there was a way he could get out of this mess before tomorrow afternoon arrived.
