Karyn Tries to Talk Her Way Into the Gibson House

Karyn needed to get into Jon's house to search for the stone, so she told Mrs. Gibson a plausible-enough story to explain why she was there. "Oh, uh, you don't know Jon. But Zoe does. We're all friends." Linda gave Karyn a disbelieving look. "You're a friend of my daughter?" It was strange that Karyn wasn't Goth like the others, but maybe this was a good sign. Maybe Zoe was starting to come out of her Goth phase. "Yeah. So, uh, can I come in?" Linda didn't know this girl, even though her daughter might. As it was, Zoe wasn't there right now. Should she allow Karyn to come inside?
