ABC's: Jane Becomes a Cat

When Jane was finished, she spelled out CAT. And only a second or so after spelling the word, the three blocks began to *glow*. "What ..." Jane began, but then realized that she no longer had the ability to speak. She tried to, of course, but all that came from her mouth was a growling noise. And then she had a bit of a dizzy spell, because for some reason the room seemed to be getting bigger. But what was really happening was that she was getting *smaller*. She looked down at her hands and saw that they were quickly becoming covered in hair and her hands themselves were changing shape. Soon, she realized that they were turning into paws. *Cat* paws. And then she made the connection. As bizarre as it sounded, she was becoming a cat. And within just another minute, she *was* a cat. She walked towards Jon's bedroom mirror and saw her reflection. She looked like a house-cat. She wanted to cry.
