Jon shut the front door behind him and dropped his backpack next to the umbrella bucket just as his younger sister, Zoe, was on her way out. She wasn't looking where she was going and nearly knocked Jon over.
"Whoa," Jon said, "Where are you going?"
"Athena picked up a new CD, she said this band is better than Black Messiah," Zoe threw out in a single breath. She couldn't manage to get past Jon and at the door.
"Better than *Moskau*?" Jon teased.
"That's not even their best song, it's just the one that **you** know. Get out of my way, Athena said she doesn't have much time."
"Alright, alright," Jon said, finally getting out of the way, "just tell me, how many consonants are in *this* band's name?"
"Hah-hah," Zoe replied, sticking her tongue out and leaving.
Jon didn't really understand why his sister liked viking metal so much. She couldn't pronounce half the bands' names, but they did something for her apparently, and despite his teasing, Jon actually thought it was cool that his sister had found something she liked that was so unique. It was almost too bad he didn't really understand it.
Jon walked up the stairs and sighed as he thought out loud. "I guess I just wish I was more into Scandanavian music."
The stone glowed, and Jon cursed himself. He'd been holding the stone! Well, the wish seemed harmless enough, maybe it would be okay.
