Zoe couldn't move. She was petrified by fear. Fortunately, though, her friend Athena was attending Jon's funeral as well. She grabbed Zoe's arm and pulled her out of the building. "My mom," Zoe muttered, sobbing. "She ..." "Yeah, I saw it," Athena said. Suddenly, they heard screaming from the inside of the funeral home. Then silence. *Then* more mindless grunting. It was clear that there were now more zombies. "Come on. Let's get out of here," Athena said, pulling her friend with her. No way was she going to let herself get turned into a zombie too.
