The Snatcher: The Incredible Shrinking Jon?

Zoe pointed the Snatcher at Jon and flipped the switch. Immediately, Jon began to lose height. When he was about three inches shorter, he said "Okay, Zoe. That's enough." But he kept getting shorter. "Zoe? Come on, that's enough. Stop this thing." Now he was almost six inches shorter. "Zoe!" "I'm trying! I can't seem to stop it," Zoe said, as she frantically moved her hands over the device. Jon looked on in horror as he lost an entire foot of height. What would happen if he never stopped getting shorter? "Zoe, do something!" he yelled out, panicking.
