Slow and Steady

Jon, sighed in confusion alittle, and noticed the clock, reading 7:15am. He moves over and grabs his books and heads down the stairs to get breakfast. He pours some cereal and starts to munch it down. His sneakers start to look cleaner and more well kept up. Jon's mother comes into the kitchen, "Good morning sweetie." "Morning, ma" "Jon, would you like to head to the gym with me after school?" Jon pauses and thinks for a moment, "umm sure mom, how about 3?"
