Suddenly, her vision blurred (or was it the world that blurred?), and when everything became clear again it was all different. She was still in the McDonalds, and a lot of kids from the high school were there, but aside from that, everything seemed different. She was sitting at a corner table, just like the girl had, everyone was looking at her...but it wasn't the same group who had been there a moment ago. It was a different set, some of which she remembered from before she dropped out and had drifted away from everything but work, and some she didn't. "Something wrong, Jamie?" One of them asked, concerned.
