Anonymous51 already made a pretty good point about "fetish" - plenty of people around here are "into" things that aren't necessarily sexual in nature. But anyway, speaking for myself, what I'm looking for (and, therefore, what I try to write) is a good *story* that plays to my particular interests. I don't have a particular objection to the instant-gratification stuff and I'm not going to give anybody shit for it, but it doesn't really *do* much for me, because I find it so much more satisfying to really get *involved* in a good story that also happens to tickle my fancies.
