Objective changes

Maybe something simple first... he had to think of something, but he was feeling a little distracted. His mother wanted him to get the shopping done and like many guys, Jon found it a real chore. He thought of all the various things on offer. Food, Clothes, toys, games but... damn it they were just so dull now. Why is it that growing up seemed to make the world so dull? He remembered when shopping *was* fun... things just seemed more... alive? Maybe it was just the power of the imagination when one was younger. It was always great when a person found that *one item*... Maybe he could make a wish *after* he did the chores. "I wish shopping could be more fun," he thought to himself. The stone glowed. - - - Instantly magic filled various objects... scattered all through the world, waiting for that special someone to touch them... and release the magic in wild and unpredictable ways.
