Dreams of Djinni: Jon the Genie

Jon came to slowly, feeling like his entire body had gone through an industrial thresher. (That tended to happen when you wished to change your very being down to the molecular scale.) Maybe he'd been a bit too hasty making such a big change to himself, but what was done was done. With a slight moan he opened his deep brown eyes to survey the damage. '*Wait, why is my voice so high pitched?*) Jon thought to himself as he started to notice his entire body was sending alien sensations to him. As he lurched upwards two things stuck him at once. First, there was a definite weight on his chest that hadn't been there before. Secondly, and much more alarmingly, his legs seemed to be missing. Startled, Jon fell off the bed, but surprisingly didn't hit the ground, he instead found himself floating on a whispy trail of smoke that existed where his legs should be. Desperate to see what he'd done to himself, he instinctively pulled on a power within himself, causing a floor length mirror to appear in front of him, revealing his new form.  Jon gaped at his, or rather herself. She'd become a genie!
