**Warning, this episode contains spoilers for Rick and Morty Season 2 (minor spoilers)**
After I got home I decided to finish up the latest Rick and Morty episode "“ Auto Erotic Assimilation.
"Cool episode" I said out loud to no one in particular. This episode featured an alien hivemind known as Unity which Rick seemed to have had 'relations' with.
Unity was one conscience able to control multiple bodies, or something along those lines.
"Imagine if I could do something like that, split my conscience across multiple bodies, that'd be so cool and weird imagine looking out of more than one set of eyes." I thought to myself as I lay back on my bed ready to sleep. When a thought suddenly entered my mind. "I could." Now I was wide awake at the prospect. I wonder if I should even make such an extreme wish The ability to assimilate people and use their bodies as if they were my own, only, at the same time.
Should I tell Karyn? No, I don't want her worrying about me. Besides, what harm could it do?
I picked up the rock from my bedside table and thought about how to word the wish.
"Well, here goes nothing" I said in anticipation.
"I wish that I could assimilate bodies like a hivemind using my conscience by throwing up a goo like substance into another person's mouth. I also wish I would be able to free people from my hivemind just by making an assimilated body regurgitate the goo." I said grasping the rock, excited about what I was going to do next.
Feeling nothing extra ordinary at that moment, I decided my next best course of action was to wait till tomorrow
The Next Morning (1) Hive
oh my god of course a rick and morty fanfic, yuck. And based on a specific episode no less. I’m reminded of when I was in grade school art class and all the other kids would just produce tracings of popular cartoon characters instead of creating something themselves, and in 1989 when asked to produce creative writing, half the class just replicated the first scene of the batman movie that came out that year. “you tell your friends about me”
