The Humanizer

"I wish I had a device that could transform any inanimate object or non-sapient animal into a human being. Any humans created by this device would gain human level intelligence, self-awareness, and basic human skills, and if it doesn’t have a defined age or gender, I could adjust the default settings in an app." Suddenly, a device appeared in Jon’s hand - a raygun with the word “Humanizer” written on it. Jon felt a buzzing in his pocket and pulled out his phone, handing over the Humanizer to Karyn. There was a new app on it, with the same logo on it. Opening it, he noticed the settings... Age: 20 Gender: Female Personality: Object-dependent Clothing: Yes "Perfect!" Jon thought. Karyn looked over Jon's shoulder at the settings on his phone. "So, anything humanised but will be a woman slightly older than us?" she asked, "No, just the inanimate objects not modelled after people. Any humanised animals will keep their gender."
