A horrible Mistake...(Reboot)

**Author's Note: Hey everyone! Welcome back to Fiction Branches! I thought that I would start off by rebooting a classic branch and hopefully allow for more stories to be told within this branch by giving people more options. Hope you enjoy. End Author's Note.** Jon headed home pondering on what to do with the rock, it was such a big responsibility. He decided that he would have to be careful with the way that he worded his wishes, especially after what happened to Karyn. Jon stopped suddenly in his tracks when he had an idea. Maybe they could set some kind of time limit on the wishes? That way the effects wouldn’t be permanent. Yes, that sounded like a good idea. Satisfied, Jon nodded and then continued on home. “Hi honey. How was your day?” His Mom asked as Jon walked in. She was in the kitchen preparing dinner. Jon shrugged his shoulders in response. “It was ok.” He mumbled as he took his shoes off. He headed up to his room while his mother informed him that dinner would be ready shortly. Entering his room Jon dropped his school bag on the floor and then, rock in hand, laid down on his bed with a heavy sigh. He decided to ring Karyn and tell her about his idea. He pulled out his cell and dialled Karyn's number. After a few rings it went to voicemail, and it was only after Jon had put his phone down that he remembered that Karyn had said that she would be out for a meal with her family. Sighing again, he put his phone down and then started tossing the rock back and forth. Normally after school Jon would probably turn on his console and start playing some video games. Today however, he just didn’t feel like it. Maybe his Grandpa's death had taken more of a toll on him than he thought. Bored, Jon absentmindedly thought out loud. “I’m bored. I wish that something interesting would happen.”. As soon as he said it he grimaced, the rock was in his left hand as he had made the wish and now it was beginning to glow. “Oh shit...”
