We stood there awkwardly for a moment, then I said “What next?” Biff shrugged, the fidgeted uncomfortably. “I don’t think you thought your geek wish through.” “Why?” I asked, getting nervous again. “I may be a geek now,” he grimaced “But I don’t remember it even though I want to so badly; all I remember is being...is being...” He turned away and leant against a fence to be sick. “Crap man,” I exclaimed worried about him “What’s going on?” Wiping his mouth with the back of his hand he replied “I’m so disgusted at how I acted as a Jock that it makes me physically ill.” I winced and held up my stone. “I wish they wouldn’t make you ill, just hate who you used to be. And I wish you’re so glad to be the new you that it more than counterbalances that hate.” “Thanks,” he nodded, looking a bit better. “Just thought of something else,” I mused, “I made you a geek but you don’t know any geek stuff; you heard the wish so your memories didn’t change.” “Neither did yours,” he replied “Neither of us has a clue how things are in this new life.” I looked down at the stone and sighed “I hope this isn’t how it’s going to be every time; layering wish stop wish to get the right result.” I sighed again. “Well, here goes nothing. I wish we had the memories of this reality in addition to our current memories.” Both of us staggered as the new memories hit us. Recovering, I looked up at him and grinned. He grinned back, knowing the same thing that had come to me. “Let’s hang out at my place bro,” I smiled. “Sure thing,” he grinned back, “BFF.”
