Wish Granted

The creature's eyes beamed at the girl like a stare of death. Suddenly, like magic rainbow socks poofed onto her legs. "It worked!" John yelled excitedly. "What worked?" The girl asked from afar, not even cognizant that his wish had altered reality, making her think it was perfectly normal that she had put on her bright colorful rainbow socks that morning, even though she had never done so a day in her life. "Oh, oh nothing." He replied. The Imp Grumbled and stuck close by him, little did John know his "wish" was far from over.
