After Jon grabbed the stone, he thought about how the effects of his previous wish would last for seven days. Seven _days_? Why did he make the duration so long? Something that Jon failed to take into consideration was that Jenny still had the wishing stone and would make wishes with it that could be permanent, not remembering that the current reality would only last for the next seven days, thinking that her current reality was the normal one. So after the effects of the "role switching" wish reverted back to normal, any wishes that Jenny made would still be in effect and couldn't be reversed.
