New Neighbors: Time for Dinner

Stacy was about to respond when Jon threw open the door and paused in shock at the room. The bed had a pink bedspread on it, there was a unicorn picture on the wall...and the pink seemed to be spreading...though Mikey hadn't noticed that it was starting to reach the dresser. Jon looked around, seeing Stacy, his brother wearing his Mom's clothes, and a little girl about Stacy's age. "What's going on here?" "Just playin', " the oddly familiar little girl said. "No! No more playing," Mikey said. "Why not, Jon?" The girl said, looking up at him. "Because it's...umm...: "Time for dinner," Mikey said. "And Stacy has to go home..." Jon finished. "Okay, Mommy," the girl said to Mikey. Both Jon and Mikey exchanged looks, while Stacy seemed to accept leaving.
