_”I guess I need to counteract Sarah’s wishes somehow.”_ Jo thought as she stood next to her bike. With the noon sun high above her head, Jo had decided to finally take a break. _”But I can’t unwish her wishes...”_ Jo grabbed another piece of jerky out of the bag. _”So maybe I wish for her to forget about the stone?..”_ Jo watched as a car pulled into the gas station she was taking a break behind. _”It’s cliché, but there’s no reason I couldn’t wish for her to forget about the stone.”_ Jo briefly tried to think of a negative outcome from that wish, but it seemed safe and straightforward. Grabbing the drinking straw off her shoulder she took a drink of water. _”But that would be letting her off so easy... Then again, I don’t even know what wishes she made so far... So how would I even know what to wish for to punish her...”_ Jo tossed a handful of nuts into her mouth. _”Could I wish for a book that has all of her wishes written in it?"_ The almonds, peanuts and cashews that Jo was chewing on tasted delicious in her mouth. _”Then I would at least know what I can’t change about her... But do I really want to go the whole revenge route?..”_ Normally an exceedingly nice person, the thought of punishing Sarah and lording over her didn’t really thrill Jo. _”But she did ruin my life...”_ Jo pictured herself as Jon standing with his family. The image in her head then morphed into a picture of Jo and her current family. _”Actually... No she didn’t... She may have cursed me, but if anything we’ve all benefitted from my curse...”_ Tossing her trash in the dumpster behind the gas station Jo headed back to her bike to get ready to finish her ride. _”The real question is how do I circumvent this curse?...”_ Sarah’s wish began to replay over and over in her head. _”I wish that whenever Jon's eyes linger on a woman that he finds attractive, Jon will gain that woman's most eye catching attribute."_ Sarah’s words continued to replay in Jo’s head as she re-strapped her duffle bag to the handle bars of her bike. _”Come on Jo think of loopholes...”_ She told herself as she readied her bike. _”I could make myself unattracted to women...”_ Jo paused and shuddered. _”No... I’m fine just the way I am... But what if I gave myself an opt out clause... or like a veto button...”_ Jo paused for a moment as her brain went into overdrive. _”What if I wished that every time I gained an attribute via Sarah’s wish that... That the attribute will be announced in my head and then I will be given like a 2 hour period in which I can veto the permanence of the attribute... Or... Hmm...”_ Jo began fiddling with the bike lock. _”If I let my body gain the attribute, that should satisfy Sarah’s wish... So I just need to figure out a way to give myself the ability to revert my body and reality if I don’t want to keep the attribute permanently... It seems like that would be legal in the grand scheme of things... Or what if I wished that lingering was defined as a very specific time... With my eyes open and no blinking! That would give me some control over the curse...”_ With her bike ready to go, Jo peaked out around the back corner of the gas station. There were a couple diesel trucks filling up, but no women. _”The coast is clear.”_ Jo told herself as she hopped on her bike and began to speed out of the gas station parking lot. _”NICE ASS!”_ Yelled a farm boy filling up his senselessly large pickup. _”You wanna come ride me like a bicycle!”_ He yelled with a woo. _”Fucking douche.”_ Jo thought as she sped away from the gas station flipping the guy off over her shoulder. _”Why are men such disgusting pigs sometimes?”_
