"Zoe, relax. What's with you tonight? We're here to have fun, remember?" Karyn said.
Staring at her longtime friend, she still couldn't believe that this girl (with the blue cyberlocks, multiple piercings, heavy make-up, blue latex outfit, heavy boots, and fuzzy legwarmers) was Karyn Black. "Fun?" she asked her.
"Yeah. Fun," came Sarah. "You need to stop worrying about shit and enjoy yourself. I mean, weren't you the one who said you'd _die_ if you didn't get the chance to hear this band?"
Seriously? Zoe hated metal music. She would never ... wait ... why would Sarah say something like that? Not to mention Karyn? Her eyes went wide. They didn't hear the wish! The music was so loud that the only person who heard the wish was herself! Karyn and Sarah thought that they were normally supposed to be this way! And Sarah was what? Her friend now?
"Hey, isn't that your brother?" Sarah asked, looking off towards the side of the club. "Maybe he'll let us join him."
"If he's with his boyfriend, probably not," Karyn said, following Sarah to Jon's table.
"Wait," Zoe said, hurrying after them. She squeezed the stone in her hand, thankful that she still had it. But could she use it to get everyone back to normal? (Or at least what _she_ thought was normal.)
As I understand it, cyberlocks (or cyberlox) are plastic or foam or rubber dreads, not hair. So it doesn't contradict the blond hair wish.
Hmm, I suppose only a few locks being dyed blue wouldn't contradict the wish for Karyn's hair to be blonde (assuming fully dyeing them via wishing would contradict it). Funny how despite her surname, her outfit ironically didn't end up very black. :P
