The Price of Crime

Funny as it was, I could not let this go now. I was the lieutenant. One of the businesses I was responsible for got punked and conned. There needed to be a response for a crime like this. Otherwise, people would try to test me even further. I looked at Ronan for a little bit. He only looked back at me with a raised eyebrow. "What is it!?" he asked. Ronan had 2 sons that I could borrow. "Get your boys together. I have 3 missions for them right now." I told him. He then narrowed his eyes. "Those are my boys here. You better not put them in danger." he said seriously. I sighed and said "I just have 3 targets: Carlo, Marco and Rocco." His eyes went wide. "You want to put a hit on your own kids!? Are you insane!?" he yelled. I put my hands over his mouth. "Of fucking course not! That's why I need your kids to do it. Just having some nice 2 on 1 fights to get back at them. Your kids would be 3 steps closer to getting made man status with the Diamond Butterflies. You know that there a ton of other, dirtier jobs in this world." I said once he calmed down. He took a deep breath and said he would tell them.   Over the course of the next week, my sons got their asses kicked. Marco, Carlo and Rocco were bruised and a bit bloody, but nothing was broken. I did not tell the Bella and Bianca sisterhood about this. There was no real way that I could. If I had told them that I was having them beat up because they stole from one of my businesses, the only thing that would stick in their minds would be that they went to a gay brothel. They were already punished. I did not want to make them total enemies with their own mothers. I made sure to tell them what happened after the beatings were over with. They were not pleased at all. When I let them know what it was for, they shut up about it really quick. Carlo, Marco and Rocco knew that they messed up. "Angelo and Paolo are at least 3 missions ahead of you now. I'm not going to help with this. I told you to do it on your own powers and you decided that meant rob your own father's friend. I do respect it enough to free you to seek your own fortunes." They looked ashamed. I smirked. "You 3 all better figure out how to get some jobs here in town." I added.
