Then an idea occured to Vanessa and she whispered to herself "I wish that Polly would lay *gold* eggs." Suddenly, the egg that had already been layed turned into a golden egg!
Vanessa picked it up. It was *real* gold! Having Polly the parrot around wouldn't just be entertaining, but also very profitable.
