The Workmen: 3AM

Tina's alarm went off at 3AM. She was the only one in the house, so wasn't running the risk of waking anyone up. She got cleaned up, brushed her hair, grabbed some clothes, and started getting dressed. Jon had been acting a bit weird the last few days, but she didn't particularly blame him. After all, people were changing around them. She was sure they'd figure out something. After all, they had a magical object of their own, and the help of that weird doctor. She was certain Schreber wasn't his real name...probably one they gave him, if they used their technology on him. She ate a quick toaster pastry before heading out to meet her best friend. She paused, as a weird thought came into her head. What if he wasn't? What if he'd been changed for someone else....and she didn't know it? "Relax, Tina," she muttered. "You're getting all paranoid." She headed out to meet Jon.
