“Bad news?” Linda said with a hint of panic. She put her coffee down and hurried over to stand by Zoe. “Nothing much to worry about I assure you” Sierras voice said calmly, “only we’re having a bit of an issue with the elevator systems at the moment” “Is that all” Zoe sighed with relief. “Well for the other floors it’s not so much of a problem” Sierra continued, “but to ensure complete privacy for the penthouse, the only access is via the elevator or the helipad on the roof for emergencies.” She added. “Wait, so we can’t leave?” Linda asked. “We have some engineers due in any minute now” Sierra said calmly, “but we cannot say how long it will take to get the system back online. In the meantime, should you require anything from room service we can deliver it via drone.” “Thanks” Zoe replied, “but this was supposed to be our last full day. What are supposed to do?” “I can appreciate the inconvenience” Seirra said apologetically, “you are still welcome to make full use of the closet of course. We have had instances like this in the past, and previous clients have told us they found the closet provided endless entertainment. That’s why we make sure there’s plenty of costumes in there.” She added. “I thought it was a once per day kind of thing?” Linda said to Zoe quietly. “Oh there’s no limit in times like this” Sierra said, having clearly heard Linda, “I mean they’re just clothes after all” she added with a chuckle. The two of them looked at each other and shrugged. “Ok” Zoe said, “well we’d obviously like meals sent up, and thanks for keeping us informed” “Not a problem Mrs Gibson, what dishes would you like?” “Oh, surprise us” Zoe replied. “Certainly,” Seirra said curtly, “well I’ll leave you ladies to your day” she added before the line went dead. The two of them stood in silence for a moment. “Sooooo…” Linda began. “You want to get dressed now don’t you?” Zoe smiled. “Oh yeah,” Linda replied excitedly, “I wonder if she was right and we can try on loads of different things today?” “There’s only one way to find out” Zoe shrugged, “come on then.” She added as they both stepped over to the closet doors.
