Jon looked around inside the car. "Uh ... nice car." "My dad got it for me for my sixteenth birthday." "Your dad bought you a car, for your birthday?" Jon asked, stunned. She never got a present as expensive as a brand-new car. Melissa shrugged. "Yeah, but it's not what I wanted." Jon was still stunned. If *she* had gotten a car for *her* birthday, she'd be a little more grateful than Melissa. Melissa sighed. "I wish I had gotten what I *really* wanted."
