Domino Effect: Zoe's Hearing a Voice

Jon's Goth sister Zoe was in her bedroom, listening to her loud metal music and surfing gothic chat sites on her computer. Suddenly, she heard Jon's voice, which was very strange, because he wasn't in her bedroom. And more than that, even if he *was* in the room with her, his voice would be drowned out by her music. It sounded crystal clear, as if he were speaking directly into her ear. "I just need to figure out what Sarah did with the stone. Hopefully, it wasn't anything too bad," Jon's voice said. "Jon?" Zoe asked. "Where are you?" No one answered, obviously, because no one could hear her over her music. The thing was, Jon wasn't even really talking to her ... or even talking *period*. Thanks to Jane's wish, Zoe could now hear every one of her brother's thoughts. She had become a mind reader, but she could only read Jon.
