Normally, her wish would have no effect, but it just so happened that when she made it, the stone was touching the bare skin of her foot, which was currently encased in an open-toe high heel shoe. The stone immediately glowed brightly, causing both Karyn and Sarah to look away. And when they looked back, Paige was back up on her feet, with no indication that she had been hit by Sarah.
