"Quite a few," Karyn said. "Like ..."
There was a knock on the door. "Shawn, dinner's ready." It was her mom.
"Okay, Mom," Shawn said. She turned to Karyn. "You want to stay for dinner?"
"Sure."
They stood up from the bed, left Shawn's bedroom, and went to eat.
