In fact, since wishes change reality, as far as everyone was concerned, Crystal had always been around Jon's age.
"Are you sure you never met her?" asked Karyn.
"Positive," replied Jon.
"What year are you in in school?" asked Crystal.
"Junior."
"That explains it, I'm just a sophomore. One year less than you. I'm sure we must have seen each other **sometime**, though..."
But that wasn't the biggest change. In the new reality, Jon had to still have a mother, but Crystal wasn't it. So, in the new reality...
