Sent To The Office

Once in the main office, Mr. Davidson asked them to take a seat. When you're in trouble, you get sent to Mr. Davidson's office. "I heard you two got into a bit of trouble. Would you like to talk about it?" He was mostly talking to Patrick, mainly because he usually got into trouble. "She was stealing books from a friend of mine." "That's a lie! They were MY books." "Just settle down. Now, maybe you should tell me who you are first. You just moved here, right?" He makes it a point to know all of the students at the school. "What are you talking about? You know who I am. I've been going to school here for years." "I'm sorry, but I don't remember you." Tomi could only stare at him. "Maybe if you told me your name?" Mr. Davidson asked. "Tomi Davis." "Uh huh. What's your **real** name?" "**Tomi Davis**." "The only Tommy Davis I know of is a boy. I'm not sure that you're a boy." "Huh?" "Maybe he's your brother?" "I don't have a brother." "Well, then, this is quite a mystery." He looked out his window at his secretary. "Wait here. I'll be right back." Tomi and Patrick looked at each other, wondering what was going to happen next.
