Karyn Can't Use the Stone

After school was over, I met up with Karyn outside. "Jonnie, I don't know how to say this, but I think I lost the stone," she said, looking very worried and panicked. "No you didn't. I've got it right here," I said, holding it up. She took it from me. "Oh good," she sighed with relief. "Because I was thinking about something to wish for." "Um, Karyn, maybe you should give it back to me," I said. "What? No way. I thought about it for hours. I'm not just making it up right now. I wish that I was wearing something really sexy for my date tonight." The stone didn't glow and her clothes didn't change. "Hey, how come nothing happened?" she asked, very confused. "Nothing happened because you can't use the stone anymore," I said, snatching the stone from her. "*What*?"
