Once inside, Lonna paused. "What about that stone?" "It was in my pocket," Lauren said. "Try yours." Lonna turned out her pockets. Nothing. "Weird," she remarked. Lauren slipped out of her heels, and when she did, she realized she was actually about the same height as Lonna. _It's been the heels this whole time..._ she realized. Lonna slipped her foot out of her sneakers. Lauren picked one up. They looked exactly like hers, but two sizes too small. Lonna might be the same height as her, but they didn't share a shoe size. "I don't think these are mine," Lonna said, sharing the thought, looking down at the heels, still confused.
