Just then, Karyn drove her car into the parking lot. She immediately spotted Jon, who appeared to be back to normal. She also saw Tiffany, Jon's girlfriend. Karyn was always a bit jealous of her. She grew up with Jon and kind of got used to doing things with him. And then all of a sudden, there was Tiffany. Of course, the details of how she became Jon's girlfriend were a bit fuzzy. She just knew that they went out with each other. "Hi, Jon. Hey, Tiffany." "Hey, Karyn," Tiffany said. "What are you doing here?" "Actually, I was looking for Jon." "Uh huh. Why?" "Well, we got this weird pendant at this costume shop at the mall." She pointed at the pendant which was still around Jon's neck. "It grants wishes." "Karyn, why are you telling her that?" asked Jon. Karyn looked confused. "Why wouldn't I tell her? She's your girlfriend." "Okay, this is all wrong. She's not my girlfriend. I don't even *know* her. It's all because of this stupid skull pendant." "You mean someone made a wish?" Karyn asked. "Would someone please tell me what's going on here?" Tiffany demanded.
