Scrambled

Everything seemed to be becoming more and more scrambled as Mikey's original poorly worded wish took on a life of its own. It had so many vague parts of it, that the more it worked, the more mixed up things were getting...like a corrupted computer program. Traits were being traded around and mixed as quickly as clothes. At least it was over for that day. The bus pulled up to the high school, and Michelle Vallen and Lydia Madison got off the bus, followed by a rapidly remasculinized Jon Madison and his best friend Karyn. There was a balance to it, somewhere. The law of conservation of energy applied. There were just as many boys and girls as there were, and the net age of the town was the same. Just redistributed...until tomorrow.
