Back in the Kitchen

“Aren’t you going to get ready?” Zoe asked as she reentered the kitchen confused to as why Jon was just sitting there. “Um, Sure.” Jon replied getting up. He hadn’t realised how long he had been sitting there. Zoe had already gotten dressed and was returning to her cup of coffee. “Are you alright Jon?” She asked concerned. “Yeah, I’m fine.” He paused and then asked. “Does anything feel different to you?” Zoe looked at him. “Different? How?” “I’m not sure yet.” Jon replied. “Just something feels off.”
