Jon Gets a Package

As Jon was gathering all of his stuff, Larry the mail guy came by and handed him a small package. Jon looked at it. *My last package,* he thought. He took a letter opener and cut the package open. But all he found inside was a small stone. He shook the package, thinking that there must have been something else there, but there was nothing. Just the stone. "Is this some kind of joke?" Jon whispered to himself. He stood up and looked around, trying to see if anyone was watching him. They usually did when there was a prank in motion, but this wasn't a prank. He sat back down and looked closer at the stone, to see if there was something special about it. But as far as he could see, there wasn't. Jon sighed, leaning back in his chair. "I wish ..."
