As Jon sat waiting for the clock to move round little did he know that his best friend was already awake. Karyn hadn’t been able to get back to sleep since she had found out the result of her latest hastily spoken wish. “Jon is going to kill me when he finds out what I have done.” She said softly to herself. “I didn’t mean it. I really didn’t mean it. I was so tried and in so much pain, I just wanted the pain to stop.” She went on to say almost without stopping. “What can I do to fix this?” she asked herself. She thought looking round the room as if she could find the solution somewhere there.
