Jon walked around the room, admiring objects as the grew larger and larger. Not of the least interest was Karen herself, whose recently enhanced endowments seemed, by comparison, to get more and more bountiful. Karen, meanwhile, could only giggle at her dwindling friend. She playfully held the rock above her head, well out of reach of Jon's grasp. In fact, Jon's head was now down below Karen's shoulders. "Wait," said Jon, "Why do I know I'm shrinking? Shouldn't this be normal to me?" "I think there's a big difference between wishing something would happen to you and wishing that you were a certain way. I said that I wish you'd shrink an inch every half hour, not --" "Karen, no!" shouted Jon.
