A feeling came over Jon like a wave, suddenly under the effect of a double-dose of the same wish. Karen felt awful and horrified that she had accidentally wished. Thankfully, Jon had stopped her before she said something else.
"It's alright," said Karen, trying desperately to make the situation better, "You've still got height left. You'll just lose another 30 inches in the next 30 minutes."
"That's sixty inches!" squeaked a four-foot Jon, "That's five feet! I'm going to be the size of a Barbie doll."
Karen smiled, picturing how tiny Jon was about to become.
"It's not funny!" he shouted, noticing the look on her face.
"It's a little funny," smiled Karen, who suddenly couldn't control herself after saying the word 'little'. She started giggling uproariously.
