She walked to the window and saw Jon walking back home a distance away. "Thanks to you, Jon now knows that the stone is real and not just a dream. Too bad he didn't use the phrase. I would have liked to see what you would have turned into." Apparently, the phrase "the crow flies by tonight" was a trigger for changing Karyn into something else. That's why she didn't want Jon to say it. And she didn't tell him anything about the stone being real, because Allison said she would use the stone on her if she told.
