BJ World: First Exploration

Jon grabbed the stone and left the bathroom. He could still hear "River of Dreams" playing from Zoe's bedroom, but he supposed after the wish that it wouldn't be abnormal for her anymore. A pit grew in Jon's stomach. He stashed the stone in his own bedroom quickly before knocking on Zoe's door. A teenaged boy answered, curly black hair and deep sunken eyes. "Hey Jon, what's up?" "Uhh.. Zoe?" Jon wasn't sure what name he should use to refer to his sibling now. But the boy didn't seem surprised, so he kept talking. "Where are the shoes I just helped you with?" "Shoes?" "Yeah, those big chunky boots?" Zoe laughed. "You know I don't wear boots. Y'get more mileage from a cheap pair of sneakers, doncha know." Jon let out a nervous laugh. "Yeah. Right. I don't know what I was thinking." He turned back around and retreated to his own bedroom. He pulled out the stone, and his cell phone.
