BJ World: Calling Karyn

Jon dialed Karyn's number into his phone, hoping that maybe his wish was limited to his sister. But his words echoed in his head again: "I wish that every girl in my school was Billy Joel." Not too much wiggle room in there. "Hey Jon," the same Long Island accent he had heard from Zoe came through his phone. "Not you too!" "What not me too?" "Karyn, you're Billy Joel." "So? Lots of people are Billy Joel." "No. They're not. Can you get over here, I need to talk to you." "Done and done." Jon's doorbell rang. "You're here?" Jon shook his head. "It doesn't matter, just come in and come upstairs." Jon hung up the phone, fell backwards onto his bed, and waited as he heard the front door open and close, and heard footsteps climbing up the stairs and towards his bedroom.
