Oh So that's why!

She put the amulet on and immediately threw the books to the ground. What was she doing? what was she saying? She loved Jesus. She took the amulet off. and suddenly she knew by looking at it that this was the goddesses protection, that the amulet was protecting her from whatever was going on when she was wearing it. She thought about putting it back on, but that seemed to contradict who she was now. That Jesus stuff was Weak, it didn't allow for the connection she was feeling to the world and the power that the Goddess offered. But something in her felt she was betraying who she was by not using it.
