The Target Stone: Their Mother Has the Switched Stone

After Zoe and Jen left for school, their mom walked into Jen's bedroom to get her dirty laundry. It was laundry day. And as she grabbed hold of her daughter's hamper, she noticed an odd-looking stone sitting on Jen's nightstand. Since Jen thought it was just a fake stone (in other words, not magic), she just left it in her bedroom. Unfortunately, what Jen didn't know was that it *was* magic, because it wasn't a fake stone, but rather the Target Stone, which would cause any wishes made with it to be granted to Zoe, as if she were the one who made them. Their mother (Jane) picked up the stone and looked at it.
