The Mindswap Stone: Let the Swapping Begin

The next morning, Jon woke up late. He hadn't gone to sleep until around one o'clock. He spent so much time playing around with the stone, that he had forgotten to do his homework. And even past midnight he wasn't even done. He just got so tired that he collapsed to sleep on his bed. He was even still wearing his clothes from the previous day. A few times, he thought about using the stone, but he didn't want to use it like that. Having his homework finished wasn't necessarily the same thing as doing his homework. What if there was a pop quiz? But seeing that he only had about 40 minutes to get ready and get to school, he decided that maybe using the stone wasn't such a bad thing. He did, of course, complete most of it on his own. He'd just be wrapping it up, that's all. He swung out of bed and looked at the clock - 7:04 AM. Through the wall, he could hear his sister's heavy metal music blasting. He shook his head. Even in the *morning* she plays her music? It was bad enough that she did it at all. Sometimes he wondered what it would be like if he *didn't* have a Goth sister. Maybe he could make a wish about it. But later. He had to make a more important wish now. "I wish the rest of my homework was done." The stone glowed, causing him to close his eyes. When he opened them, he was somewhere else.
